Design of a smart lime mortar with conductive micro and nano fillers for structural health monitoring

چکیده

Structural health monitoring is an essential tool for assessing the performance of buildings and infrastructure, especially after critical events or application structural interventions. When dealing with architectural heritage structures, both instrumentation intervention materials need to be as inconspicuous unintrusive possible, in terms mechanical compatibility aesthetics. Therefore, design smart sensors based on construction used conservation engineering promises provide acceptable integrated upgrading solution historic structures. In this paper experimental investigation masonry structures presented. The consisted natural hydraulic lime mortars modified through inclusion electrically conductive micro- nanofillers: graphite, carbon nanotubes microfibres. fillers multifunctionality matrix material enhancement its piezoresistive characteristics. Further, they result improvement properties without compromising chemical original structure. resulting were evaluated property improvement, piezoresistivity ease production.
